Apple has just released iOS 4, previously known as iPhone OS 4, a major update to the mobile OS running on it’s mobile devices. iOS 4 brings in a handful of significant changes—the most awaited of which is Apple’s implementation of “multitasking”— and a slew of tweaks and improvements to existing functionality.
If you’re wondering whether you’ll be getting the update, iOS 4 is available only for the following Apple devices: iPhone 4, iPhone 3GS, and iPhone 3G users (as well as second- and third-generation iPod touch users). No iPad. iPhone users will get the update for free while iPod touch users will need to shell out some cash for it.

Not to be outdone by the PlayStation 3 Slim by gaming console rival Sony, Microsoft unveils it’s latest update to the XB0x 360 console. Redmond describes the new model as “sleeker, smaller, whisper-quiet.” The arrival of the new 360 model lines itself with the company’s upcoming release of it’s motion controller peripheral, Project Natal, now known as simply Kinect.
Oh, and custom memory cards like the ones made by Datel are incompatible with the new XBox 360 model. Full Specs after the jump.

Adobe has just released (quietly I might add) the Flash 10.1 plugin. This new version supports hardware H.264 video acceleration on Windows PCs (no Mac or Linux release yet) with compatible graphics processors. This is good news for underpowered ultraportables and some netbooks should now be able to play high-definition YouTube videos.

Released before the BL20, it’s big brother, the LG BL40 Chocolate opens up a whole new mobile experience on this ultimate ultra wide screen phone.
While it may not standup to the current line up of high-end phones currently in the market, the LG BL40 stands out as the 4th handset in LG’s Black Label Series and successor to the highly-acclaimed LG Chocolate (which is currently ranked on the top 5 of most sold handsets in the world).

If you’re looking for a cheap yet sassy slider phone, you may want to take a peek at the LG BL20 Chocolate.
Like all of the phones that LG categorizes under the tagline chocolate, is a sleek and elegant phone that’s a beauty to behold. The BL20 boasts a 2.4 inch TFT screen, MP4 and MP3 player, a 5 MegaPixel camera and connectivity for GPRS and EDGE, HSDPA and BlueTooth 2.0.
Yes, no wifi and that’s a deal breaker for most people I know.
