Samsung hands out free Galaxy S to unhappy iPhone 4 users

Seems like a reasonable deal. Samsung UK is giving away a free Galaxy S, complete with Android 2.1, a 4-inch (480×800) AMOLED display, a 1GHz Samsung Hummingbird CPU, a 5-megapixel camera with autofocus and swype to iPhone 4 users that were not happy with their purchases.

Can anyone say damage control? Apple finally issues a letter to current and would be iPhone 4 users to in response to the number of complaints, reviews and even lawsuits that the company is receiving.

Apple unveils iPhone 4

Straight off Apple’s WWDC, Steve Jobs proudly unveils the latest iteration of Apple’s smartphone, the iPhone 4. Running on the newest iPhone OS (now just dubbed iOS 4), featuring dual cameras and an IPS LCD display, Steve kicked off his presentation of the new iPhone by calling it “the most beautiful thing we’ve ever made.”
